What are salt caves and what do they do?

Salt caves are specially designed rooms or spaces where the walls, floor, and sometimes the air are infused with salt, usually Himalayan or sea salt. People visit salt caves to participate in halotherapy, a wellness treatment that involves breathing in the salty air, which is believed to improve respiratory conditions, skin problems, and overall relaxation. While some scientific studies suggest potential benefits for people with asthma, allergies, or skin conditions, more research is needed to confirm these effects. Salt caves are popular for their calming atmosphere and are often used for meditation, relaxation, and stress relief.

Salt Cave attendants often encounter challenges such as maintaining optimal air quality, ensuring client comfort, and managing the cleanliness of the salt room environment. It is important to regularly monitor and adjust humidity and temperature levels to preserve the therapeutic benefits of the salt.
