Job description

Salesforce Technical Architect

Who We Are:
We see the world through Salesforce glasses. We love Salesforce โ€” it's our craft โ€” and we want to make a Salesforce evangelist out of everyone. We're the kind of people who, in our spare time, experiment with new Salesforce architecture patterns, dissect release notes three times a year, debate integration frameworks, and build things just to see how they scale.
Our practice was created by Salesforce thought leaders specifically for Mid-Market sized companies. As a certified Salesforce Partner, we are a true end-to-end partner for businesses looking to maximize their Salesforce investment through custom integrations, optimization, AI enablement, advisory services, and managed services.
We don't just "implement Salesforceโ€, we architect scalable ecosystems.
What We're Looking For:
The Salesforce Lead Technical Architect will serve as the senior-most technical authority across client engagements. This role is responsible for designing scalable, secure, high-performing Salesforce architectures while guiding delivery teams through complex implementations and integrations.
This individual must combine strategic architectural vision with hands-on technical depth. You will lead solution design across multi-cloud environments, advise executive stakeholders, mentor developers and architects, and play a key role in shaping our technical standards and best practices. This individual will also be responsible for building out solutions and getting hands-on with the team and the customer.
This is not a pure oversight role. This individual is going to be working with client stakeholders to extract the business requirements necessary to craft their technical design. This is a builder's architect โ€” someone who can whiteboard, build, review code, and present to a CIO.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Technical Project & Program Ownership
โ— Lead end-to-end technical architecture for Salesforce engagements across Sales Cloud, ServiceCloud, Experience Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, and integrations.
โ— Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with client business goals and Salesforce best practices.
โ— Define system architecture patterns including data modeling, automation strategy, security model, integration framework, and DevOps approach.
โ— Own integration architecture across APIs, middleware (MuleSoft, etc.), external platforms, ERP systems, telephony, and marketing systems.
โ— Follow technical standards, governance models, and reusable architecture frameworks
โ— Work collaboratively with teams to outline and handoff work to others
Salesforce Technical Architect
โ— Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Delivery Leaders, and Project Managers to align functional and technical design.
โ— Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance assessments.
โ— Assist with deployment and troubleshoot environment differences causing acceptance criteria to fail.
โ— Validate technical estimates during pre-sales and ROM creation.
โ— Ensure adherence to delivery methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and Salesforce best practices.
โ— Contribute to internal accelerators, reusable frameworks, and IP development.
โ— Stay ahead of Salesforce releases, platform updates, AI capabilities, and ecosystem tools.
Client Engagement
โ— Serve as executive technical advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and senior stakeholders.
โ— Translate business strategy into scalable technical architecture.
โ— Present architecture roadmaps, integration diagrams, and long-term technical strategy.
โ— Support pre-sales pursuits by leading discovery sessions and technical solution workshops.
Qualifications:
โ— 8 years of Salesforce implementation experience with at least 4 years in an architect-level role.
โ— Expertise in architecting solutions and handing off tickets to other delivery team members for execution.
โ— Deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, including:
โ—‹ Data modeling & large data volume strategy
โ—‹ Apex, LWC, integrations & API frameworks
โ—‹ Security & sharing model design
โ—‹ CI/CD and DevOps best practices
โ— Proven experience leading multi-cloud and complex integration projects.
โ— Strong understanding of middleware tools (MuleSoft or similar) and system-to-system
integrations.
โ— Experience designing solutions across Sales, Service, Experience, Revenue, and/or Data Cloud.
โ— Strong client-facing communication skills with executive-level presence.
โ— Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor technical teams.
โ— Experience working in consulting environments with multiple concurrent projects.
โ— Salesforce certifications preferred (Application Architect or System Architect). CTA track or
equivalent experience strongly preferred.
