Job description

Position Title: Private Banker
We are partnering with a highly respected financial institution that is expanding its Private Banking team throughout the Western United States. This is an opportunity to work with affluent individuals, business owners, and trusted advisors while delivering customized banking, lending, and wealth management solutions backed by a collaborative team of specialists. You'll have the autonomy to grow your portfolio, cultivate referral partnerships, and provide an exceptional client experience, all while enjoying outstanding earning potential and long-term career advancement.
This client-facing role is designed for a high-performing individual who excels in building and maintaining relationships with clients and referral sources. The Private Banker will engage in business trust and estate planning, as well as manage loans and treasury management needs. This position emphasizes a streamlined and efficient process, ensuring clients receive exceptional service.
Salary Range: $160,000 - $210,000+ / Year DOE
Responsibilities:
  • Develop new client relationships and enhance existing ones through proactive outreach
  • Engage with referral sources, including CPAs and attorneys, to expand business opportunities
  • Track and manage client data using Salesforce to ensure effective follow-up and relationship management
  • Respond promptly to client needs and inquiries, facilitating timely solutions
  • Conduct business development activities to identify and pursue new opportunities

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in two banks or fewer, unless demonstrating proven strategic growth
  • Experience as a Private Banker with a track record of bringing in $15 million in new loans, deposits, or assets under management
  • Conversational understanding of credit, with the ability to lend up to $50 million for specific entities
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar software, along with strong Excel skills
  • Experience in high-end banking, preferably in private wealth
  • Series 6 or Series 7 certification is preferred
