What You Will Do:
Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Quality Assurance Consultant in a rapidly growing practice. In this role, you will serve as a key contributor responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and successful delivery of Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with developers, administrators, and project managers to design and execute test strategies, document defects, validate fixes, and support continuous improvement of project quality. You will guide internal and external teams through testing efforts across system, integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing activities using an adaptive-agile methodology.
You will be instrumental in reviewing requirements, creating test plans, participating in sprint ceremonies, and ensuring that all Salesforce functionality-customized or declarative-meets defined acceptance criteria and organizational standards. This role is also critical in identifying risks early, collaborating with technical teams to triage issues, and ensuring quality assurance is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce implementations.
  • Perform manual and automated testing, including system, integration, regression, acceptance, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
  • Identify, isolate, document, and track defects and bugs, ensuring resolution and quality sign-off.
  • Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Demos, and working sessions as part of an agile delivery team.
  • Review business requirements and provide early feedback to identify potential gaps or risks.
  • Validate fixes for defects and verify they do not introduce unintended impacts (regression).
  • Review and evaluate user interfaces for usability, accessibility, conformity, and functional accuracy.
  • Ensure user stories align with acceptance criteria and meet quality standards across all environments.
  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, declarative specialists, business analysts, and PMs to ensure delivery quality.
  • Support creation and maintenance of test data and test documentation used throughout QA cycles.
  • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies across the project and broader QA function.

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)
  • Minimum of THREE (3) years of Quality Assurance experience, specifically testing Salesforce applications.
  • US Citizenship is contractually required.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce functionalities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning, and Salesforce data models.
  • Experience with QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and testing strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation and QA tools (e.g., Selenium, test automation frameworks, JIRA).

  • Familiarity with Apex, Salesforce integrations, Lightning components, and Salesforce automation features (Flows, Process Builder).
  • Prior experience leading requirement-gathering discussions and translating them into testable acceptance criteria.

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
