Salesforce QA - Service Cloud Voice & Amazon Connect

Are you energized by making sure complex Salesforce solutions work exactly the way clients need them to? This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys testing Salesforce Service Cloud Voice, Amazon Connect, and integrated enterprise platforms while helping teams deliver high-quality, reliable customer experience solutions.

About the Role

The Salesforce QA role is focused on supporting quality assurance across Salesforce Service Cloud Voice, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Amazon Connect implementations. This person will design and execute test strategies, validate Salesforce functionality and integrations, support automated testing, and partner closely with business analysts, developers, architects, and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle. We're looking for someone with strong Salesforce QA experience, hands-on Service Cloud Voice and Amazon Connect exposure, and the ability to support testing across complex enterprise environments.

Who we are

FormativGroup is a PE-backed Salesforce consulting and implementation partner helping organizations transform how they work through strategy, solution design, implementation, and ongoing platform support. We partner with clients to deliver scalable cloud technology solutions that align business needs, technical architecture, and long-term growth. Our teams bring together Salesforce expertise, delivery discipline, and a collaborative approach to help clients move from vision to execution.

What you do

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test strategies and test plans across Salesforce Service Cloud Voice, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud implementations.
  • Apply proven experience with Amazon Connect to support testing across contact center and Salesforce voice solutions.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and end-to-end testing across complex Salesforce solutions and integrations.
  • Validate Salesforce configurations, Flows, Lightning components, Apex functionality, APIs, security models, and custom platform enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and project teams to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and business processes.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and regression suites utilizing Copado and related Salesforce testing tools.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, retrospectives, and release readiness activities.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution while partnering closely with development teams on root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Validate data integrity, migration accuracy, and platform behavior across environments and deployments.
  • Ensure Salesforce solutions comply with security, governance, accessibility, and regulatory requirements within Salesforce Service Cloud Voice environments.
  • Support CI/CD deployment validation, release management activities, and production readiness testing.
  • Participate in client-facing discussions, testing reviews, and UAT coordination sessions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate QA documentation including test cases, test scripts, traceability matrices, defect logs, and release validation reports.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes, automation frameworks, and Agile delivery practices.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce QA, Quality Engineering, or Salesforce testing roles within enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience supporting Contact Center, Service Cloud Voice, and Amazon Connect Salesforce implementations.
  • Extensive experience building and executing automated test scripts using test automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience testing Salesforce platforms including Service Cloud Voice, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Lightning Experience, Salesforce Flows, and declarative automation.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Connect.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionality, security models, user roles, profiles, and sharing architecture.
  • Experience performing functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, User Acceptance Testing, end-to-end testing, and API testing.
  • Experience utilizing Copado for Salesforce DevOps, automated testing, and release validation.
  • Experience validating integrations involving APIs, web services, middleware, and external systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software delivery methodologies and release cycles.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in client-facing environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document defects, testing outcomes, and validation results.
