WHAT WE DO:
We focus on providing delivery, staffing, and supported services such as enterprise integration/implementations including, but not limited to, CRM, EAM, ERP, PMO, and QA. We service clients in SLED (state/local gov''t & education), financial services, fortune, public utility, as well as regularly partnering with Big 4 SI partners.

DTI has an immediate Salesforce Consultant role for a contract to hire position in either Columbus, Oh or Merrillville, IN.

Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite- Tues-Thursday) or Merrillville, IN
Employment Type: W2 Only

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Consultant to lead the successful delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions in a large-scale digital transformation environment. This role will be responsible for overseeing Salesforce design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and operational readiness activities while coordinating closely with internal stakeholders and third-party implementation partners.

Required Qualifications
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States as a .
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Salesforce solution delivery, including design, configuration, development, and integration activities.
  • Proven experience leading Salesforce implementations in complex, multi-vendor enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise with:
    • Salesforce Sales Cloud
    • Salesforce Service Cloud
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    • Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360
    • Salesforce Lightning Platform
    • Apex Development
  • Experience with MuleSoft, RESTful APIs, and middleware integration platforms.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality tools.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security models, role-based access control, and compliance standards.
  • Experience managing Salesforce testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, and Performance Testing.
  • Experience using Jira, qTest, and Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Salesforce Certifications such as:
    • Salesforce Administrator
    • Platform Developer I/II
    • Sales Cloud Consultant
    • Salesforce Technical Architect
  • Experience supporting utility or energy industry transformation programs.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with SAP, MuleSoft, contact center technologies, and enterprise API architectures.
  • Experience with Salesforce Einstein and AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities.
  • Experience with enterprise data migration and master data management initiatives.
  • Knowledge of change management and user adoption best practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Salesforce solution delivery for Customer Contact Management (CCM) initiatives.
  • Oversee implementation and integration of:
    • Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    • Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360
    • Related Salesforce platform solutions
  • Manage design, configuration, customization, and integration activities across internal and external teams.
  • Guide Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Performance Testing efforts.
  • Coordinate with vendors and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery of Salesforce solutions.
  • Support deployment, cutover, hypercare, and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Ensure Salesforce security roles, access controls, and compliance requirements are properly designed and implemented.
  • Drive Salesforce DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD automation, code quality reviews, and security validation.
  • Facilitate collaboration across business and technical workstreams to ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems.
  • Support training, adoption, and organizational change management initiatives.
  • Establish monitoring and operational support standards for Salesforce environments.
  • Participate in governance, status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution activities.
