Key responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, technical design, and delivery of complex, multi-cloud Salesforce solutions.

  • Gather requirements from business users, translate them into scalable configurations, and deliver platform enhancements.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot platform operations to ensure system health, security, and optimal performance.

Job description

Job Description:

Position Purpose:  We are looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect to join our team and take ownership of designing, building, and optimizing our Salesforce platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, well-architected solutions. This is a hands-on role that balances strategic thinking with day-to-day delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leading the architecture, technical design, and delivery of complex, multi‑cloud Salesforce solutions within a global environment.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce architecture roadmaps, technical standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Serve as the go-to subject matter expert on Salesforce for internal teams, providing deep insight into its capabilities, technical architecture, potential applications, and crucial limitations. Advise stakeholders on optimal use cases, implementation approaches, and when alternative or complementary solutions may better address business needs.
  • Act as primary point of contact for business users, gathering requirements, translating them into scalable configurations, and delivering enhancements using declarative tools (Flow, Dynamic Forms, Lightning App Builder).
  • Own day-to-day platform operations including security model, data quality and system configuration (flows, validation rules, objects, page layouts); proactively monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance and adoption.
  • Translating business requirements into robust technical architectures and guiding teams through solution implementation.
  • Design scalable, secure, and high‑performing configurations, customizations, integrations, and automation across the Salesforce platform.
  • Act as an escalation point for critical or complex challenges, providing expert diagnosis, recommending strategic and technical solutions, and guiding teams toward successful resolution.
  • Lead architecture reviews, evaluate technical debt, and ensure proposed solutions align with platform standards and long-term business objectives.
  • Maintain expertise in Salesforce product roadmaps, emerging platform capabilities, and advancements in generative AI through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Evaluate, select, and evangelize emerging technologies, frameworks, and platforms to support modernization and innovation (e.g., cloud-native, AI/ML, event-driven architecture) with knowledge of emerging trends across the tech industry.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 7+ years of Salesforce experience, including architecture, solution design, and technical leadership responsibilities.
  • Salesforce certifications: Administrator + one or more of Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder, or Sales/Service Cloud Consultant.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and other modern Salesforce platform capabilities.
  • Experience with data modeling, security architecture (sharing rules, profiles, permission sets), and governor limits.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, event-driven architectures, and Salesforce integration best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with master data management, data governance, and large-scale data migration strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with Agentforce, including agent design, orchestration, and governance.
  • Familiarity with Data Cloud concepts (data streams, identity resolution, calculated insights).
  • Salesforce Architect certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, or B2B/B2C Commerce).
  • Experience with DevOps tooling (Copado, Gearset, or SFDX/Git pipelines).
  • Exposure to CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or B2B sales environment.
