Job description

Salesforce Developer - Manufacturing

Location: Northwest Houston Area
Employment Type: Contract to hire

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions that support business operations and drive efficiency.

This position is based in the Northwest Houston area and requires an on-site work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions
  • Customize and configure Salesforce applications
  • Develop using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Build and manage integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools)
  • Maintain DevOps deployment processes and version control
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and release schedules
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices
  • Participate in Agile development processes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related platform features
  • Proficiency with Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
  • Experience with declarative tools (Flow Builder, Process Builder)
  • Salesforce integration experience using APIs and middleware
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules)
  • Experience with Git and Salesforce DX
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • Full lifecycle implementation experience (requirements through deployment)
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems
  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Admin, etc.) preferred

Education:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
