Envelop Group is a family of companies focused on the design, installation, and ongoing optimization of custom facility technologies that impact every square foot of a building's operations. We work with contractors, building owners, and consulting engineers to provide all the technologies needed for the most advanced, efficient, and secure operation of any facility.

We are looking for a technically inclined individual to join the team as an Owner Direct Account Manager in training. This is an exciting opportunity for a new or recent graduate looking to kick-start their sales career by embarking on a developmental journey.

What you'll do:

  • Under the guidance of an experienced Account Manager, learn to generate new business and sell recurring maintenance/testing and inspection agreements on all services provided by Envelop Group.
  • Prospect and develop sales leads, qualify prospects, and make sales calls.
  • Evaluate existing facility systems, and propose service agreements, maintenance programs, equipment and controls upgrades, and other potential solutions to meet the building owner's needs.
  • Utilize sales tools effectively (Salesforce, Service Trade, etc.) and input items such as service agreements, quoted service, and contracting proposals, both signed and proposed. Facilitate connection to service records, analysis, and reports for fulfillment team.
  • Actively participate in industry activities such as trade shows, conferences, and professional association meetings to increase business opportunities.
  • Conduct account reviews to include equipment reviews for purposes of renewals and equipment overhaul or replacement.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Required skills, experience, and knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent training and experience in a similar field.
  • Mechanical, HVAC, low-voltage, or building automations system knowledge; preferred.
  • Strong sales aptitude, previous sales experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
  • Excellent technical skills, and the ability to think creatively to support technical problem solving.
  • Good cross functional leadership and team working skills.
  • Competitive nature and a strong desire to win.

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Travel to customer job sites which requires the ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including but not limited to standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment; working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional appearance.
  • May be required to satisfy requirements imposed by specific projects, customers, or company.
  • Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet.
