Job description

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team in NYC. The ideal candidate is proficient in Salesforce development best practices, comfortable working across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, and eager to contribute to a large-scale multi-cloud transformation.

This role partners closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, Data teams, and senior developers to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience
  • 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

  • Strong development experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce automation.

  • Experience supporting or building features in Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.

  • Exposure to integrations, API-based communication, or middleware tools preferred.

  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Skills
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, governor limits, and performance considerations.

  • Proficiency in writing scalable, testable code and using version control tools (Git).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.

  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits.

Certifications (Preferred but not required)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (highly preferred)

  • Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder

Salesforce Development
  • Develop and customize solutions using Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Flows.

  • Build features across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including page layouts, record types, validation rules, automation, queues, assignment rules, and case workflows.

  • Participate in development of integrations using REST APIs, platform events, external services, and middleware.

  • Maintain and extend declarative components (Flows, Process Builders migration to Flows, approval processes).

Collaboration & Delivery
  • Work with Product Owners and BAs to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks.

  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.

  • Support QA cycles, deployment activities, and defect resolution.

  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce development standards and best practices.

Platform Maintenance & Support
  • Troubleshoot platform issues, performance challenges, and integration errors.

  • Monitor and improve code quality, scalability, and reusability.

  • Stay updated on new Salesforce releases, features, and platform enhancements.
