Job description

Why Stifel
Stifel strives for a culture that puts its clients and associates first: a culture where everyone belongs, everyone is welcome, and everyone contributes to the success of our clients, their careers, and the firm as a whole.
Let's talk about how you can find your place here at Stifel, where success meets success.
What You'll Be Doing
The Salesforce Administrator II independently manages configuration, customization, and ongoing enhancement of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) supporting Wealth Management. This role plays a key part in delivering complex configurations, maintaining system integrity, supporting DevOps release processes, and partnering with business stakeholders to optimize advisor and client workflows.
What We're Looking For
  • Design and implement complex configurations including custom objects, flows, validation logic, dynamic forms, and Lightning components.
  • Enhance FSC capabilities for households, financial accounts, relationship mapping, and client lifecycle management.
  • Support custom advisor dashboards, automation, and reporting frameworks.
  • Configure role hierarchy, sharing rules, and field-level security to meet fiduciary and compliance standards.
  • Gather requirements from advisors, operations, and compliance teams.
  • Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce configurations.
  • Recommend process improvements aligned with FSC capabilities and platform best practices.
  • Support CI/CD processes (e.g., Copado or equivalent) for metadata deployment.
  • Manage sandbox strategy and coordinate testing cycles.
  • Validate deployments and ensure change control compliance.
  • Maintain data quality, duplicate management, and auditability controls.
  • Ensure configurations meet regulatory and fiduciary obligations.
  • Support reporting needs for supervisory and compliance oversight.

What You'll Bring
  • Strong knowledge of custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and Lightning apps.
  • Strong knowledge of user management, profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchy.
  • Strong knowledge of validation rules, flows, workflow rules, and approval processes.
  • Ability to build and maintain complex flows (record-triggered, screen flows).
  • Ability to build and maintain reports and dashboards for different audiences.
  • Solid understanding of data management, data loader, imports, exports, deduplication, and data hygiene.
  • Experience supporting integrations or third-party apps.
  • Able to troubleshoot issues independently and explain solutions clearly to non-technical users.
  • Understanding of Salesforce best practices around security and access control, change management (sandboxes, deployments, release notes), testing, and documentation.
  • Experience supporting audits, data privacy, or compliance requirements is often a plus.
  • Ability to work with sales leadership, frontline users, and IT/developers.
  • Able to document processes and provide user training or support.

Education & Experience
  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum Required: 2+ years Salesforce administration experience.

Licenses & Credentials
  • Minimum Required: Salesforce Administrator Certification.

Systems & Technology
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or similar.
