Job description

About You:
Are you the person who looks at a tangle of data and instinctively wants to bring order to it? Do you get real satisfaction from taking something disorganized and making it work better? If sitting at the intersection of problem-solving and technology sounds like where you want to be, keep reading.

Join our team as a Jr. Salesforce Admin and become an integral part of our dev team. In this role, you'll dig into cloud systems and help build Salesforce solutions that solve real problems for our team and our clients.

What we're looking for:

  • A genuine eagerness to dive deep into Salesforce administration and development - no prior Salesforce experience required; the appetite to master it is what matters
  • Comfortable interacting with clients face-to-face and virtually
  • A natural problem-solver who enjoys untangling complexity and creating value
  • Strong analytical capabilities and can work with data and systems
  • Loves a new challenge and is committed to personal growth
  • Adaptable to change and collaborates well in a small team setting
  • Bachelor's degree required

About the role:
You'll join a team pushing the boundaries of custom Salesforce development - building tools and workflows that we package and deliver to RIAs across the country. You'll grow daily alongside an experienced team, gaining insight and mentorship along the way. The work you do here won't sit in a drawer; it'll be used by firms nationwide, and you'll play a meaningful part in bringing that to life.

You'll also get face time with real clients: greeting them in the office and hopping onto Zoom calls on your work-from-home days to provide excellent client service. The right person has quietly been the hardest worker in every job they've held, is eager to build technical skills, and is self-motivated while still being a strong team player.

We expect this team member to earn their Salesforce Admin Certification around the 6-month mark.

Balance

  • Hybrid position
  • In-person on Tuesdays in Glastonbury, CT – every other day is work from home
  • 1 evening a week required (Monday through Thursday)
  • Flexibility in the remainder of the week to ensure a total of 40 hours for work/life balance
  • We provide full work-from-home functionality

AdviceOne:
AdviceOne is a growing advisory firm managing over $2 billion in assets for clients nationwide. We're a fast-paced company that thrives on constant change and is in growth mode - and your career will grow right along with us.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary as well as revenue sharing bonus opportunities
  • 401(k) plan with employer contribution
  • Medical/Dental/Vision/Life insurance
  • Short- and long-term disability
  • Generous PTO policy
  • 16 paid holidays off
  • Continued Compensation Plan
  • Healthy work/life balance
