Job description

Location: Aurora, CO / Woods Cross, UT

Position Summary: Sales Support is responsible for providing support to the sales team and customers during the sales process. They help customers resolve sales-related issues in a timely manner, providing real-time support. They serve as a liaison between the company and its customers by completing clerical and administrative duties for the sales team, enter sales orders, answer customers' questions, provide quotes, assist other departments as needed, and inform customers of their order status.

Sales Support also performs several responsibilities related to engaging new and existing clients, with the goal of generating sales and retaining customers.

Top 5 Main Tasks:

  • Be knowledgeable about the ERP system and products.
  • Enter sales order accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with customer’s needs and questions.
  • Foster a collaborative relationship with assigned sales consultants.
  • Follow up on and manage back orders and open orders with.

 Sales Support will also provide the following:

  1. Thorough follow-up to customer interactions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  2. Maintain customer accounts and update with new account information as needed.
  3. Respond with a high sense of urgency to customer inquiries, product and service questions, and customer complaints.
  4. Resolve customer complaints in a friendly and timely manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  5. Enter customers' orders immediately with accuracy and attention to detail.
  1. Work with the sales team to stay up to date on pricing, and customer needs, and communicate potential challenges.
  1. Work closely with all departments to ensure all deliveries are completed per the customers’ requests and/or deadlines.
  2. Work with the sales team to support their growth and success.
  3. Work with other departments to resolve customer concerns and follow up as needed.
  1. Monitor customer owned and customer specific product inventories and alert purchasing and/or production to concerns or discrepancies as needed.
  1. Provide product quotes to customers.

  • Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles.
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
