POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring accurate and timely execution of the sales orderbook for a range of customers including high volume and specialized accounts. This position will also own the placement of forecasts, item set-ups, other day-to-day and seasonal operational duties to support the overall success of the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Partner with the sales team on assigned accounts, while executing various duties assigned by Sales Support Manager. 
  • Manages orders and the assigned accounts, including manual order entry for SOs (sales orders) & BSOs (blanket sales orders), monitoring flow of EDI orders, and releasing orders.
  • Provides insightful and strategic orderbook reporting 
  • Manage NuOrder orderbook by releasing orders and reach out to Sales Rep for any issues related to the order.
  • Investigate complicated issues relating to order fulfillment and communicate directly with Sales reps, warehouse, and/or the customer to provide resolution.
  • Proactively communicates with the sales team and other critical cross functional partners on going customer and planning initiatives
  • Processes order confirmations and provides proforma invoices. 
  • Supports customer program sheet creation and ensures accurate pricing in ERP system through price groups. 
  • Assists Sales Support Manager with Item Set Ups in retailer portals. 
  • Enters and processes RMAs, credit rebills and memos. 
  • Manage order information flow between ERP and customer portals, identify and resolve errors. 
  • Monitor forecast management report and resolve price group variances.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert and participates in department process improvement which includes and is not limited to technical enhancements

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-4 years’ experience in Customer, Sales, or Dealer Service. Preferably in a consumer product, retail or dealer-based environment. 
  • Marketing & Sales experience desirable.
  • Team player, team leader as needed.
  • Leads, drives, and builds excitement, energy, and consensus among cross-functional groups.
  • Proven record of setting high expectations and achieving commitments.
  • Track record as a top performer; earns the respect of customers and peers.
  • Works in the best interests of all - within and across functions, levels. When something is broken, regardless of responsibility, take the action needed to fix it.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

A collaborative, open space work environment located on the second floor of the 40,000 sq. foot facility located in Broomfield, Colorado. Team members share a common desk area. The Sales Support area is faces west and looks out on open space and the Flatirons. There are approximately 40 employees in the 40,000 sq. ft Broomfield corporate facility which houses multiple quiet telephone booths, a large outside patio, and a large employee breakroom for the employees’ use.

Exxel offers a minimum of 80 hours vacation, and 7 days sick to all Full-time employees, prorated for Part-time employees, and for when the employee begins with the company during the year. Salary range for this position is $24-26 an hour, based on education and prior experience.
