JOB DESCRIPTION:Spire and the Greenville Swamp Rabbits seek a Director, Partnership Activation. The role will be responsible for the oversight and execution of all team sponsorship agreements, including; fostering and maintaining positive relationships with corporate partners, development of proposal decks and sponsorship agreements, maintaining accurate and thorough accounts of assets/inventory and generating recap reports to showcase the value and success of all corporate partnerships. The primary goal of this role is building and growing impactful relationships in the Greenville business community.
The Director, Partnership Activation will; be extremely personable, an effective multi-tasker, and have a passion for business development and community causes. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter that takes initiative and thinks creatively.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Oversee the execution of all corporate sponsorship agreements, ensuring all contracted assets - including in-arena signage, digital content, promotions, and hospitality - are properly implemented
  • Develop recap reports to showcase the value and success of all sponsorship activations
  • Maintain detailed tracking of sponsorship fulfillment, preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the corporate sales team with research, inventory management, and fulfillment logistics.
  • Provide prompt, thorough, and courteous responses to all inbound & outbound customer communication - phone calls, emails, mail, etc.; maintain high level of customer service to existing and new clients
  • Perform "game day" responsibilities, including management of Sponsorship deliverables; concourse layout; and other specific theme-related activations
  • Provide Event support for specific Corporate Partner events, including team hosted events for partners; and partner hosted events to fulfill partnership obligations

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
  • Highly organized, resourceful, detailed-oriented, quick learner and time management skills
  • Excellent relationship building and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn in a team environment and adhere to departmental guidelines
  • Ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn required business systems
  • Ability to professionally handle highly sensitive and confidential information

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education:
  • A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year)

Experience:
  • 2-4 years of related work experience; preferably in the sports industry.
  • Must be able to work game nights, weekends, and holidays, based on an events schedule.
