Overview
The Concierge Host is the face of the White Rabbit Sky Lounge guest experience. Occupying a role that sits at the intersection of luxury hotel concierge and nightlife VIP host, this position is responsible for the full lifecycle of every reserved guest engagement, from first point of contact through graceful farewell. The Concierge Host serves parties of six or more, coordinates seamlessly with the Sales & Catering team, and manages table reservations from both our booking platform and approved outside promoters. The ideal candidate carries themselves with the poise of a five-star hotelier and the energy of a premier day club host; warm, polished, and relentlessly anticipatory.
Responsibilities
Guest Relations & Arrival Experience
  • Welcome all reserved parties of six or more with personalized, anticipatory service from point of arrival to table seating
  • Serve as the single point of contact for each guest party throughout their entire visit - introductions, transitions, and farewell
  • Maintain a composed, polished demeanor that always reflects the standards of a luxury concierge environment
  • Proactively identify and resolve guest concerns before they escalate, exercising sound judgment and hospitality instinct

Sales & Catering Coordination
  • Partner directly with the Valorian Hotel Sales & Catering team to receive, review, and execute all group bookings generated through hotel sales channels
  • Review of all Sales & Catering manifests prior to each operating shift; confirm table assignments, minimums, special requests, and VIP notes
  • Serve as the on-floor liaison ensuring Sales-sourced guests receive white-glove treatment consistent with the premium experience promised at point of sale
  • Communicate post-event feedback to the Sales team to support renewal, upsell, and recurring business opportunities

Reservation Management
  • Manage and confirm all table reservations sourced through the White Rabbit booking platform, ensuring complete guest profiles are on file prior to the shift
  • Coordinate with approved outside promoters to receive, verify, and assign their table reservations; serve as the property point of contact for promoter guests on the night of event
  • Ensure all reservation records, including full legal name, mobile number, and email address are accurately entered into the reservation system prior to service
  • Incomplete or unverified reservations will not be credited toward incentive calculations; accuracy is the standard, not the exception

Revenue Generation & Incentive Performance
  • Actively develop, cultivate, and maintain a personal guest book of recurring high-value patrons and group clients
  • Drive direct table reservations through relationship outreach, follow-up communications, and event awareness campaigns
  • Earn a 10% incentive on the total revenue of all tables personally booked and hosted by the Concierge Host
  • Collaborate with the beverage team to ensure tableside up selling opportunities are presented gracefully and in alignment with White Rabbit brand standards

Brand Standards & Operational Excellence
  • Embody the White Rabbit Sky Lounge brand identity in appearance, communication, and conduct at all times
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the full cocktail program, specialty offerings, and weekly programming calendar
  • Participate in pre-shift briefings, weekly team meetings, and all required training sessions
  • Complete all assigned data collection, guest outreach, and marketing support tasks as directed by management
  • Maintain high visibility across the rooftop throughout the operating shift; this is an active, floor-forward role

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an upscale hospitality setting - luxury hotel, high-volume rooftop, day club, or premium nightlife venue
  • Demonstrated ability to manage group guest experiences with professionalism, discretion, and composure
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in both warm personal connection and polished professional communication
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple reservations, parties, and touchpoints simultaneously across a busy operating shift
  • Comfort navigating reservation and table management systems (UrVenue or equivalent experience preferred)
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • California RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to stand, move through an active venue environment, and work in varying noise and crowd levels for an eight-hour or longer shift

Preferred
  • Prior experience in a concierge, guest services, or VIP host role at a resort, lifestyle hotel, or elevated nightlife concept
  • Existing relationships within the Los Angeles entertainment, entertainment industry, or luxury lifestyle community
  • Bilingual communication skills a plus
  • Working knowledge of wine, spirits, and craft cocktail culture
