Job description

SUMMARY

The Sales Operations Analyst is a cross-functional role that will be responsible for business analytics related to sales performance, sales planning, and variable pay management system utilization. This individual will manage disputes, system efficiency, and future plan development.

JOB DUTIES

  • Assists in administration of sales planning and variable pay management system(s). This
  • includes system functionality, system enhancements, plan builds, quota setting, plan
  • performance tracking and reporting.
  • Manage system errors, efficiency, and disputes.
  • Assists through the variable pay management system implementation and future
  • development in the system.
  • Participates in the sales planning process, including territory design, sales process
  • improvement and customer assignments.
  • Collaborates with HR Compensation to analyze incentive plans for effectiveness and
  • determine possible modifications to plans.
  • Ensures adequate documentation is available for all plans and processes.
  • Creates and models plans to be developed in the system.
  • Creates agile reporting that can be repeated periodically.
  • Works with the field teams on re-assignment of accounts to ensure proper alignment of
  • the sales resource with the sales potential of areas and accounts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Prior experience in a sales operations or similar role.
  • Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and streamlining processes.
  • Expert ability to analyze data and organize it into useful information.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to dig deeper from a business ask.
  • Ability to adapt, adjust and move with speed to execute on priorities.
  • Strong time and project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with executive leadership in an open and professional manner.
  • Variable pay management system experience: developing plans, reports, workflows, dispute management.
  • Understanding in scoping projects and timeline to innovate functionality.
  • Strong and professional written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Occasional travel may be required.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

Certification as Varicent v10 Technical Specialist preferred.

COMPENSATION

$74,148.48 - $101,908.80 (annual)

Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Motion, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
