We're looking for an experienced Parts Manager to lead our parts department and help us keep our operation running at peak efficiency.

Job Summary

Heritage Ford of Vernal is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee all aspects of our parts department, including inventory management, staff supervision, vendor relationships, and department profitability. The ideal candidate has a strong background in automotive parts operations, preferably with Ford-specific experience, and a proven track record of driving departmental growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the parts department, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory control
  • Maximize department profitability while controlling costs and minimizing obsolescence
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise parts department staff
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Ford and other vendors/suppliers
  • Set and monitor pricing, gross profit margins, and inventory turn rates
  • Ensure parts availability to support service and collision departments
  • Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and service demand
  • Handle customer and wholesale parts inquiries with a high level of service
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe parts department
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Parts Manager, preferably at a Ford or other automotive dealership
  • Strong knowledge of Ford parts systems, inventory management software, and DMS platforms
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to analyze inventory data and make sound purchasing decisions
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
