Job description

Pay: $36,000 base salary + 8% uncapped commission
Expected total compensation: $55,000–$70,000+
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Group Sales Manager to handle group-event sales for three Escapology locations in Central North Carolina.

This position will respond to inbound inquiries, build quotes, follow up with customers, and close birthday parties, corporate events, team-building activities, and other group bookings of 12 or more guests.

This is primarily an inside-sales role with warm leads generated by our existing stores. The right person will be confident communicating with customers, comfortable asking for the sale, and disciplined about following up until the event is booked and paid.

Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly to incoming group-sales inquiries by phone and email
  • Sell birthday parties, corporate events, team-building events, and large group outings
  • Prepare quotes using established packages and pricing guidelines
  • Follow up consistently with prospective customers
  • Approve discounts within established limits
  • Collect deposits and final payments
  • Enter accurate reservations into the booking system
  • Coordinate event details with the appropriate store manager
  • Ensure customers receive a clear and professional handoff
  • Build relationships with local chambers of commerce and attend selected networking events
  • Follow up after events to generate repeat business and referrals
  • Maintain accurate records of inquiries, quotes, bookings, and collected revenue

Qualifications

  • Prior sales, hospitality, event, customer-service, or account-management experience
  • Strong phone, email, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfortable closing sales and discussing pricing
  • Excellent organization and follow-through
  • Able to manage multiple inquiries across several locations
