Job description

A multinational company with a facility in the Novi, MI area is currently seeking Aftermarket Sales Engineers for Direct Hire opportunities with their growing team.

Local candidates are preferred, but relocation assistance is available for well-qualified candidates.

Aftermarket Sales Engineer salaries are anticipated to be $90,000 – $120,000 annually based on each candidate’s experience and education. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours, as applicable. We offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, and profit sharing.

Qualified Aftermarket Sales Engineers will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

• 3+ years of recent / relevant experience with industrial equipment sales, service, or aftermarket support (heat treat, furnaces, or capital equipment preferred)
• 3+ years of recent / relevant experience with electrical control systems, PLCs, or industrial automation is highly preferred
• Experience selling parts, service, rebuilds, or retrofit projects for industrial equipment
• Working knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial networks (Ethernet, Profibus, Modbus, etc.)
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and control schematics is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with customer-facing experience
• Experience interfacing with engineering, manufacturing, and customers to complete projects
• Must be able to travel 25%–50% domestically to customer sites for inspections, reporting, and sales support
• A BS degree in Engineering or related field is a benefit but not essential; equivalent industry and technical experience will be strongly considered
• Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered)
• Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
