Job Purpose
As Sales Director you will be responsible for growing business across specific HoldCo’s/verticals leveraging your current contacts and the company’s existing business relationships and credibility. You will be comfortable with driving both strategy and execution in a highly entrepreneurial environment, operating with agility and speed.


As this is a hands-on position you will dive deep into the details of all illuma’s varied products and services and add-value at all levels of planning from strategy to implementation. You will be responsible for forward-looking strategies as well as ensuring current campaigns and business are executed flawlessly.

You will be responsible for driving sales growth among the largest media agencies and brands in the US market. You will be passionate and curious; demonstrating your desire to scale and develop our US business. We will give you the tools and knowledge to build your network fast.

Requirements


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Your role will be to manage and grow revenue within a media agency/brand patch/vertical across the US.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Presenting / pitching to agencies and clients, in both individual and group meetings
  • Build strong relationships with the clients to position illuma as an invaluable part of their Programmatic strategy
  • Understand client expectations intimately and begin to anticipate their responses ahead of delivering work. Address obstacles and requests that need attention and prioritise appropriately. Provide feedback to help shape company sales strategy.
  • Organize and manage a high level of work.
  • Write and respond to RFP’s proposals in a timely fashion, and lead client presentations
  • Representing us at industry leading events.
  • Provide regular updates to the Senior Sales Director on revenue forecasting, account progress and challenges.
  • Build a well-organised and updated pipeline.
  • Collaborate with global commercial colleagues on account progress and strategy.
  • Participate in product roadmap discussions based on evidence of client demand
  • Travel when needed.
  • Be a positive contributor to illuma company culture.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 6+ years' experience selling programmatic solutions in adtech/media.
  • Experience working in Adtech, Media is required.
  • Ability to create a plan and execute it end to end.
  • A proven track record of achieving revenue goals.
  • A relevant network of agency and enterprise contacts.
  • Proficient in the language of programmatic advertising and the systems and technology in this sector.
  • Knowledge of, or experience in, working in a media agency or HoldCo.
  • Consultative approach and demonstrable passion for helping brands successfully navigate their business problems.
  • Ability to interpret data to provide strategic insight and recommendations.
  • Energetic and confident presenter to small and large client groups alike.
  • Competitive drive to win new commercial accounts, with the diligence to nurture the relationship as it grows.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience of liaising at all levels.
