Job Description
The Sales Representative will be an integral component in the development of the Wholesale Sales Unit of Gildan. The incumbent will be responsible for all the sales and account management activities required to secure new business, maintain and organize account activities and build account relationships.
Generate and manage the sales for all aspects of Gildan's
multiple branded business and accounts (direct to screenprinter
wholesale) with the ultimate goal of generating profitable sales growth
through the:
    • Creation and management of account level business plans for all accounts.
    • Creation of product line presentations for Gildan brand products. Understanding customer needs.
    • On-going
      analysis of all aspects of the customers' business including, pricing,
      sales and inventory analysis, competitive product lines, competitive
      programmes and communication to Gildan management of the same.
    • Communication
      of business planning including special orders, private label,
      projection (bulk) orders, pull orders, replenishment orders, and at-once
      orders.
    • Acting as a liaison between
      all functional Gildan operating areas (customer service, credit, and
      operations) and the Gildan customer to insure timely and accurate
      communication of all information pertaining to the business relationship
      between the companies.
  • Increase sales of Gildan products in the territory through development of new distribution at:
    • Existing customers.
    • Qualifying direct accounts

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Sales or Marketing or a related discipline and one year of Apparel or Apparel Sales experience (packaged products experience is preferred). The incumbent should also be familiar with the retail planning processes.
