Role
In alignment with AltaOne's mission, vision, and values, the Director of Marketing is a senior leader responsible for the day to day operational leadership, execution, and performance of the Marketing function. This role serves as the department's primary delivery and operations owner, translating enterprise marketing strategy into executable, prioritized plans that drive measurable business outcomes.
The Director of Marketing ensures that marketing initiatives are delivered on time, on brand, and within capacity constraints, while balancing competing priorities and making informed trade off decisions. This role oversees marketing operations across all channels and serves as the escalation point for scope, timing, and resource issues.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Translate enterprise marketing strategy into clear, executable marketing plans, roadmaps, and priorities.
Align marketing initiatives with organizational objectives, brand strategy, and growth targets.
Ensure strategic intent is preserved through execution while adapting plans as business needs evolve.
Serve as the operational lead for the Marketing department, owning workflows, capacity planning, and delivery standards.
Manage marketing staffing, including workload distribution, role clarity, and prioritization across initiatives.
Make informed trade off decisions when capacity, timeline, or resource constraints arise.
Establish and maintain scalable processes for intake, prioritization, project management, and delivery. Implement continuous improvement strategies based on performance analysis.
Oversee end to end delivery of marketing initiatives across all channels, including digital, social, events, and print.
Ensure campaigns and deliverables are executed consistently, on schedule, and in alignment with brand standards.
Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure marketing efforts support business, sales, and member/customer goals.
Ensure brand standards are clearly defined, communicated, and adhered to across the organization.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI.
Use data and insights to drive continuous improvement and inform future prioritization and investment decisions.
Act as the primary escalation point for marketing related scope, timing, quality, and resource conflicts.
Provide clear direction, feedback, and accountability to marketing team members and cross functional partners.
Communicate status, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership in a concise and actionable manner.
Foster strong collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and shared ownership of outcomes.
Lead, mentor, and develop marketing team members, promoting engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
Set clear expectations, goals, and performance standards aligned with department and organizational objectives.
Support a culture of operational excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement within the Marketing function.
Execute AltaOne's social media programs, including content publishing, engagement tracking, and performance optimization across platforms
Develop and maintain a centralized editorial calendar to coordinate content across campaigns, social, and communication channels
Utilize member segmentation and behavioral data to execute targeted and personalized marketing campaigns
Administer and optimize marketing technology tools to support campaign execution, automation, and performance reporting
Monitor and manage online engagement and brand interactions, including response protocols and escalation of reputational risks
Coordinate execution of community engagement initiatives, including events, sponsorships, and local market activities
Ensure all marketing activities follow established compliance review and approval workflows in coordination with Compliance and Legal
Continuously refine campaign execution processes and workflows to improve efficiency, throughput, and quality of deliverables
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience
โ€ข 8 plus years of progressive experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on marketing operations, execution, and delivery.
โ€ข 3 plus years of experience leading teams and managing cross functional initiatives.
โ€ข Proven ability to translate high level strategy into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
โ€ข Demonstrated experience balancing competing priorities and making trade off decisions in resource constrained environments.
โ€ข Experience in a regulated industry, financial services, or similarly complex operating environment.
โ€ข Strong background in integrated marketing across digital, social, events, and print channels.
โ€ข Experience establishing KPIs, dashboards, and ROI measurement frameworks.
โ€ข Familiarity with agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Physical Requirements
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 4-6 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
