RESPONSIBILITIES 

Sales Leadership & Business Growth 

  • Lead and manage sales efforts, actively engaging in high-value deal negotiations and assisting Client Executives in closing opportunities to drive team success. 
  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to expand our client base and strengthen market positioning. 
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through direct outreach, leveraging tools such as LinkedIn, email campaigns, and calls. 

Team Development & Management 

  • Coach and mentor the sales team, enhancing their skills in sales strategies, funnel management, and closing techniques. 
  • Establish and enforce sales processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and best practices across the team. 
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. 
  • Keep the team informed on industry trends, current events, and evolving market dynamics. 

Networking & Relationship Building 

  • Actively participate in networking opportunities, both in-person and online, to build and maintain strong client relationships. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional organizations to expand our brand presence. 

Client Engagement & Onboarding 

  • Oversee the early stages of client onboarding to ensure a smooth transition from sales to service teams. 
  • Maintain ongoing communication with key clients to foster long-term partnerships and identify opportunities for expansion. 

Performance Management & Strategy Execution 

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, using data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies. 
  • Ensure alignment between individual and team goals with overall company objectives. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Qualifications 

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a sales leadership role and must be willing to obtain insurance license post hire.  
  • Demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performance sales teams. 
  • Experience handling medium to long-term sales cycles with a strategic approach to business development. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and ability to implement data-driven improvements. 
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client engagement and market development. 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.Â
