The Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing a team of Retail Service Merchandiser (RSMs) to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales growth, and execute merchandising initiatives across assigned accounts. This role provides leadership through coaching, performance management, customer relationship development, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure Imperial consistently exceeds customer expectations.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties Include:
  • Perform store inspections to ensure adherence to Imperial's Service Excellence standards.
  • Conduct Store Quality Reviews.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of qualified candidates; Execute and monitor training plan; Evaluate trainees; Conduct meetings with salespeople on a regular basis.
  • Coaching and developing the RSM team
  • Maintain service levels to acceptable standards; Ensure store service schedules are adhered to; Assist with store service as needed.
  • Full responsibility of all merchandising tasks associated with remodels, new store set-ups and updates in self-serviced stores in assigned area.
  • Ability to read and implement planograms.
  • Control expenses within budget guidelines; Monitor and approve mileage and expense reports; Ensure timely completion of all related paperwork; Review weekly service reports from RSM's
  • Build relationships with store owners and managers and other staff to maximize sales opportunities; Assure customer satisfaction with Imperial.
  • Driving sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Ownership of KPIs (service levels, selling expense, audits, etc.)
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Account Managers and Category Managers
  • Build year over year sales.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. (3+yrs related experience may be substituted for formal degree).
  • Minimum 2yrs of Supervisory or Team Leader experience preferred.
  • Related Retail/Supermarket service experience or related store/route sales experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of GM/HBC product categories preferred.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Computer skills and Electronic ordering device experience a plus.

  • Energetic, Creative, Self-Motivated-Innovative Thinker.
  • Ability to Travel throughout MA, CT, RI (Valid Driver's License/Reliable Transportation required).
  • Pre-Employment Criminal Background Clearance and Drug Screening.
