What is a sales development software?

Sales Development Software is a digital tool designed to help sales teams identify, engage, and nurture potential customers (leads) more efficiently. It automates tasks such as lead generation, outreach, follow-up, and tracking interactions, enabling sales representatives to focus on building relationships and closing deals. These platforms often integrate with CRM systems, provide analytics, and help streamline the sales process to increase productivity and conversion rates.

How does a sales development software role typically interact with sales and marketing teams?

Professionals in Sales Development Software roles often serve as a vital link between the sales and marketing teams. They collaborate closely with marketing to understand campaign goals and messaging, while also working with sales to qualify leads and ensure smooth handoffs. Success in this role often requires clear communication, sharing insights on lead quality, and providing feedback on prospect engagement. This collaborative approach helps optimize the sales funnel and drives more effective outreach strategies.

Job description

Launch your sales career with impact. Learn, grow, and help shape the future of our customer relationships. Fluidra is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team in Atlanta, GA.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

We’re looking for a proactive and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. In this role, you’ll focus on engaging B2B pool professionals through outbound prospecting and timely follow-up with inbound leads. Your primary mission is to drive dealer sign-ups into our loyalty programs and ensure a seamless transition into onboarding—encouraging early and consistent purchases of Fluidra-branded products. You’ll help new accounts start strong by guiding them to explore and utilize key tools, digital resources, and exclusive product promotions through FluidraPro, laying the foundation for long-term value and growth. As an SDR, you'll be the crucial first point of contact—warming up prospects, qualifying opportunities, and setting up our Account Growth Reps (AGRs) for success. If you're organized, curious, and eager to learn the craft of consultative selling, this is your launchpad. Additionally, you will:

  • Cold call and email B2B pool professionals to introduce loyalty programs and generate interest in our solutions.
  • Respond promptly to inbound marketing leads, guiding them through the signup process and toward activation.
  • Meet and exceed signup quotas, ensuring dealers not only enroll but also begin purchasing and leveraging FluidraPro tools and offers.
  • Qualify prospects through engaging conversations, surfacing business needs and potential fit.
  • Support onboarding for newly converted accounts, setting them up for purchasing success and digital adoption.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date, documenting all prospect activities and lead progress.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Growth Representatives to prioritize accounts and coordinate outreach strategies.
  • Stay informed on products, programs, and promotions, so you can speak confidently and compellingly with prospective customers.
  • Monitor industry trends and share insights to help refine outreach and messaging.

WHAT WE SEEK

  • 2 + years experience in customer service, sales, retail, call centers, or prior internship experience required.
  • Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills - comfortable talking to new people over the phone and by email.
  • Ability to stay organized, take notes, and keep track of follow-ups.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, sales techniques, and CRM software - training will be provided.
  • Energetic, coachable, and motivated to grow your career in sales.
  • Enjoys working closely with others and supporting teammates to achieve shared goals.
  • Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and web-based tools.
  • Can handle multiple tasks and manage your day to meet deadlines.
  • Friendly, reliable, and ready to represent the company well when speaking with prospects.

EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework or a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus, but not required.

WHAT WE OFFER

An exciting opportunity to dive in and begin your career with a company that offers a competitive total rewards package that includes:

  • 2 weeks of paid vacation
  • 11 paid Holidays
  • Full range of health benefits including medical, dental & vision, short & long-term disability
  • 401(K) matching (100% of first 3% contributed, 50% of the next 2%)
  • Health and wellness programs / gym reimbursement
  • Educational assistance up to $7,000 per year
  • On-site self-service café / free gourmet coffee stations
  • Company sponsored FUN events!
  • Generous product discounts
  • Free Airport parking
