The Role:
This is a hybrid role based out of Salt Lake City (Lehi). Employees are expected to be in office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week
We're looking for a driven and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. As an SDR, you'll be the first point of contact with potential customers and play a key role in building our sales pipeline. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to break into tech sales and grow their career in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
What you'll be doing:
  • Identify and research potential clients through outbound prospecting
  • Prospect for, generate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities by making outbound (cold) calls and emails daily reaching out to key decision makers
  • Help prospects understand Sourgum's solution, and how we fit within their current operations and business processes
  • Manage and update lead information in the CRM (e.g. HubSpot)
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to refine messaging and outreach strategies
  • Follow up with inbound leads from marketing campaigns and website forms
  • Track outreach metrics and contribute to ongoing process improvements
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our product and value proposition

The qualifications you need:
  • 0-2 years of sales, customer service, or lead generation experience (B2B SaaS experience is a plus but not required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with a team-first mindset
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and handling objections
  • Coachable and eager to learn new tools, tactics, and strategies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
