Job description

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who wants to do more than simply hit activity numbers. You’ll be the tip of the spear—identifying, engaging, and qualifying the right B2B prospects and creating meaningful pipeline for our Account Executives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional with 1–3 years of experience who has already demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and is eager to grow into an Account Executive role.

This is a fully in-office position at our South Jordan location. You’ll work alongside the sales team every day, collaborate closely with leadership, and have the opportunity to learn and grow in a high-performance environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting through phone calls, email sequences, LinkedIn, and creative outreach channels.
  • Prospect against a defined Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and identify high-potential B2B opportunities.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads using established discovery frameworks.
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives and ensure strong handoffs with complete prospect information.
  • Consistently achieve weekly and monthly activity, qualified-meeting, and pipeline generation goals.
  • Test, refine, and optimize outreach messaging based on conversion data and results.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete CRM records.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and sales leadership to continuously improve prospecting and qualification strategies.
  • Take ownership of your results and actively look for ways to improve performance.

What You Bring

  • 1–3 years of B2B sales, SDR, business development, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated success generating pipeline through outbound prospecting.
  • Strong cold-calling skills and the ability to confidently engage prospects.
  • A track record you can quantify—including activity levels, meetings booked, conversion rates, or pipeline generated.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resilience and the ability to handle rejection without losing momentum.
  • A competitive, goal-oriented mindset and desire to be among the top performers on the team.
  • Comfort working with CRM and sales-engagement platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar tools.
  • Ability and willingness to work in-office five days per week in South Jordan, UT.

What Success Looks Like Within your first 60–90 days, you will be expected to:

  • Build a consistent outbound prospecting rhythm.
  • Meet established activity expectations.
  • Generate qualified meetings and meaningful pipeline.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of the ICP and qualification process.
  • Establish yourself as a reliable, high-performing member of the sales team.

For top performers, this role is designed to be a launchpad to Account Executive, with the opportunity to advance based on demonstrated performance, typically within 12–18 months.
