Job description

Element is one of the world's leading providers of testing, inspection, and certification services. We help customers bring products to market safely, reliably, and efficiently by providing a broad range of testing solutions across aerospace, defense, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor, consumer products, and other highly regulated industries.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and supporting sales growth initiatives across the aerospace and industrial sectors. You will work closely with senior sales leaders and technical experts to learn our services, understand customer challenges, and help deliver solutions that support critical quality and safety requirements.

Salary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00/yr DOE

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and outbound outreach.
  • Conduct cold calls, emails, and follow-up activities to generate customer meetings and sales opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain sales activity within CRM systems.
  • Follow up on quotes, leads, and marketing campaign activities to drive conversion opportunities.
  • Support trade shows, customer visits, and business development initiatives.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Element's testing and inspection services.
  • Build relationships with manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, and industrial customers.
  • Collaborate with operations, technical teams, and sales leadership to support customer growth.
  • Consistently meet activity, pipeline, and business development objectives.

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, account development, inside sales, lead generation, or customer-facing commercial roles.
  • Demonstrated experience prospecting, developing leads, and building business relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently engage new customers and conduct outbound business development activities.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for customer visits and business travel.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person for ITAR compliance purposes.

Preferred:

  • Experience selling within industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, testing, inspection, certification, or technical service environments.
  • Exposure to consultative or solution-based selling methodologies.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and growing accounts.Familiarity with aerospace or NDT markets is a plus but not required.
