Job description

Centennial Technologies is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Junior Sales / Business Development Associate to support business development, pipeline growth, and client engagement activities.
This role will focus on identifying opportunities, supporting capture efforts, and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to build a career in federal sales and business development within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Requirements
  • Support identification and tracking of new business opportunities across federal agencies and partners
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the business development pipeline, including opportunity research and qualification
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, partners, and upcoming opportunities
  • Support outreach efforts including emails, LinkedIn engagement, and meeting coordination with prospective clients
  • Assist in preparing business development materials such as capability statements, presentations, and briefings
  • Coordinate and support meetings, capture activities, and follow-ups with clients and partners
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activities in CRM or tracking tools
  • Support proposal and capture teams with administrative and coordination tasks as needed
  • Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and key metrics

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or related roles (internships acceptable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional presence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
