Overview

This is a full-time, on-site, commissioned career opportunity based out of our International Building building in Hunt Valley, MD

Advise clients on financial plans utilizing knowledge of tax and investment strategies, securities, insurance, pension plans, and real estate. Duties include assessing clients' assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectives to establish investment strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Services an existing group of clients. Providing an understanding of investment risk and expected returns by properly profiling each customer by need for suitability. Provides ongoing investment and banking advice to customers to help meet the customer's total financial need. Ensures customer profile is updated routinely so investments remain consistent with risk tolerance. Attempt to gather assets, as part of total relationship, from other institutions.
  • Responsible for building a referral network within the Bank in order to promote and sell brokerage and insurance products. Educates Fulton Financial Corporation Fulton Financial Corporation employees regarding investment and insurance products and services so the branch and other employees can deliver qualified referrals. Contacts new and existing clients to provide investments and insurance products as well as to cross sell banking products and refer back to Bank partners. Attends partner meetings to promote teamwork and understanding of brokerage products.
  • Interacts with outside sources to encourage the referral of potential customers.
  • Maintains a business plan developed. Focus is on maximizing internal referrals, working existing book of clients, and development of external new business sources to achieve annual sales objectives.
  • Assists Sales Assistant Manager in the evaluation of their assigned sales assistant.
QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Relevant degree pertaining to the essential duties of this role. (Preferred)

Experience

1 or more years Securities industry. (Required)

Certifications

Series 7 and 63/65 combo or 66 securities licenses and State insurance licenses. (Required)

Must be able to be affiliated with our Broker Dealer. (Required)
