Job description

We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Account Manager to support our US Consumer Division across the West Coast. In this role, you’ll be responsible for growing revenue, expanding customer partnerships, and delivering profitable business results across a diverse portfolio of customers and manufacturing capabilities.

This role that blends strategic account management, new business development, and cross-functional leadership. You’ll serve as the key link between customers and our operations, ensuring seamless execution and long-term success.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive sales growth and profitability, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key customer stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and targeted prospects
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, technical, and customer service teams to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery
  • Lead coordination of product launches, trials, and ongoing programs
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customer needs and ProAmpac’s manufacturing capabilities
  • Manage customer programs including forecasting, quoting, order flow, and inventory models (e.g., VMI)
  • Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making
  • Ensure clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and flawless execution across all deliverables

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably with large or multi-site customers
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving performance targets
  • Experience in flexible packaging, films, or related industries strongly preferred
  • Ability to lead and influence within a cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated experience with CRMs, Salesforce preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
  • Willingness to travel to support customer and plant engagement
