Sales Manager

Myers Tire Supply and Myers Tire Supply International, Myers Industries Companies, serves the complete tire service market. Customers rely on our product selection, product quality, rapid availability and business solutions to grow their businesses. While we sell to anyone who performs tire service, we have custom product solutions for specific markets. MTS buys and sells nearly 10,000 different items everything professionals need to service passenger, truck, and off-road tires and wheels. Our suppliers are among the most trusted brands in the industry to ensure the highest quality for our customers. The products we sell are associated with superior performance in their area.

Responsibilities

The sales manager (SM) position is responsible for leading an efficient and results driven sales region defined by the complexity of the market and revenue ownership. This includes forecasting sales results, coaching and mentoring field sales representatives, and executing overall sales initiatives throughout the region. The SM serves as the region's point of contact between the field and the regional leadership and market segment leader.

  • Assist market account and account executives with field resource deployment, account strategies, and territory planning
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing sales for each individual they manage; project expected volume and profit
  • Build, develop, and manage sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives
  • Coach and mentor field representatives throughout region
  • Participate in the recruiting and onboarding process of sales representatives
  • Implement systemic sales process structure
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with the RD of Sales and Market Leadership
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
