Steinhafels is currently recruiting a Sales Manager.  This position has the overall responsibility to coach, train, and direct the sales staff.

Primary duties for the Sales Manager include:

  • Open and close the store ensuring every detail has been accomplished
  • Demonstrate best-in-class selling behaviors, including solution-based selling, product knowledge expertise, effective closing techniques, and strong follow-up.
  • Model high performance in all sales categories to set the standard for the team.
  • Use personal sales results as a coaching tool to train associates on increasing average ticket, attachment rates, and overall sales productivity.
  • Maintain accountability for both individual performance and overall team results, reinforcing a culture of ownership and achievement.
  • Keep the sales floor maintained with well trained Sales Associates who uphold our standards
  • Handles sales conflicts in a timely manner with the goal to resolve
  • Observes sales staff to better coach a successful staff
  • Direct the staff in setup of new sales events
  • Take part in the training of new sales associates
  • Participates in management meetings
  • Requires punctuality and regular attendance
  • All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements for the Sales Manager:

  • Requires the ability to motivate, communicate and train employees
  • Must be able to complete required reports on time as assigned
  • Requires good organizational skills
  • Position requires regular weekend availability
