Insurance Sales Advisor - Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 65k/year - Kansas City, MO

  • Our client, an insurance agency focused on providing custom insurance solutions for real estate investors is looking for an Insurance Sales Advisor. They service individual investors, conglomerates, bulk REO holders, wholesalers, and lenders. They service over 140,000 locations nationally!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a needs analysis & offer solutions and quotes as well as send quotes to underwriting for review.
  • Underwriting then returns the quote to you to either bind or decline the policy. This is not a cold calling role, all leads are warm & inbound!
  • Evaluate current insurance coverage, develop & advise proposal options that protect the investor as it relates to their real estate portfolio.
  • Educate clients on the differences in insurance coverage & assist them in determining the best coverage for their business model.
  • Document coverage decisions in an effort to maintain accurate records.
  • Recognize the importance of affiliate and retail agent-driven opportunities and handle appropriately.
  • Ability to maintain a 60% closing ratio on all new accounts

Qualifications:

  • P&C Licensed preferred. They will pay for you to obtain your license within the first 60 days of employment if you do not already have.
  • 2+ years in a client service or sales position.

Compensation:

  • Base salary to 65k/year, plus commission opportunities
  • Months 3-4: 5% commission; quota increases to 10k - 14k in premiums.
  • Months 5-6: 10% commission; quota increases to 15k+.
  • After Month 6: 15% commission on new business when exceed 20k.
  • Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, etc.
  • In office for 3-4 months, then hybrid (3 days in, 2 remote).
