Job description

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Civil Designer in our Charlotte, NC or Greenville, SC office, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world.

You'll change the shape of your community by supporting growth through sustainable urban development, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Land Development team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Design land development projects (commercial, industrial, residential)
  • Complete due diligence, design, and permitting processes for site development projects
  • Assist Project Managers in communication with clients and regulatory agencies
  • Lead projects delegated by Project Managers
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients
  • Review work of junior staff and provide feedback
  • Provide periodic construction observation and office support for projects under construction

We're looking for:

  • Must be a degreed Civil Engineer
  • 4+ years in Land Development
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred
  • EIT or PE preferred
