This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You Will Get To Do: Analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs.

Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis. Tools utilized may include CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer and a variety of software applications.

You Will Bring These Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science or STEM with 5 years of experience; or Master's degree with 3 years of experience; or PhD with 0 years of experience Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with investigation date within 5 years U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) Experience running dynamic and static analysis Experience in any of the following: ABAQUS, ANSYS, FEMAP (w/Nastran) Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent disciplines (e.g. systems engineering, design, test) in a highly integrated team environment Proficient in programming and use of MATLAB (or equivalent) for analysis and data manipulation Proficient writer and able to verbally communicate technical content These Qualifications Are Nice To Have: Proficiency with ABAQUS, FEMAP, and ANSYS Exposure to structural test applications Experience with seismic analysis (ASCE 7) Exposure to missiles program requirements & with propulsion Navigate through NX 3D models and CPLM TeamCenter CPLM experience Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
