The Role:
A Mini Bar Attendant will exceed the expectations of all Bunkhouse guests in a multitude of tasks that include, but are not limited to, checking rooms post-checkout, charging guests for mini bar items taken, restocking mini bars, inventory control and possible concierge services when in contact with in-house guests.
The person in this position must have good communication skills, the ability to resolve conflict and a thorough understanding of Bunkhouse policies. All Bunkhouse employees are expected to greet all guests in close proximity and make each feel important by providing a genuine welcome. Furthermore, they must develop and maintain the company's culture, values and reputation in the public eye.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Restock and replenish minibars in guest rooms according to hotel standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
  • Accurately record minibar consumption and charge guests accordingly.
  • Ensure all minibar items are fresh, properly labeled, and within expiration dates.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of minibar storage areas.
  • Report any maintenance or operational issues in guest rooms.
  • Provide courteous and discreet service, respecting guests' privacy.
  • Enter guest rooms during stays and after checkout to replenish and charge for any mini bar consumption
  • Assist in the development and implementation of special projects
  • Ensure immediate response is given to any and all guest comments and concerns and inform immediate supervisor of concerns and assist implementing corrective measure when necessary

Based upon fluctuating demands of the operation and to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically related to this position.
