Rockfon is seeking a Supply Chain Planner, based on-site at our Chicago facility, as part of our Rockfon Purchasing and Planning team. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Planning and Purchasing.

Job Title: Supply Chain Planner
Location: Chicago, IL (On-site)
Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our Planning and Purchasing team. The role focuses on optimizing inventory levels, ensuring smooth production and material flow, and maintaining data integrity in our ERP-SAP system.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production and purchase orders to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain SAP system parameters to control inventory and material flow.
  • Meet or exceed on-time shipment (OTS) targets.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between customer service and operations.
  • Analyze and manage inventory to minimize stock while meeting customer demands.
  • Proactively manage inventory to prevent shortages and handle slow-moving materials.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including production and purchasing, to ensure efficient planning.
  • Update and maintain planning procedures and master data.
  • Prepare inventory, production, and sales reports.
  • Continuously improve planning processes and performance.

What You Bring:
  • 3-5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • SAP and MRP experience required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • APICS or similar certification.
  • Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) and production planning techniques.
