Job description

Cordia Resources is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to lead key accounting and financial operations during a transitional period. This role will oversee core accounting functions, ensure strong internal controls, and deliver accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership experience and strong expertise with Sage Intacct.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee monthly account reconciliations and ensure timely, accurate close processes
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies
  • Manage and review revenue recognition and related accounting activities
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts in partnership with leadership
  • Prepare and present financial statements and management reports
  • Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Manage and mentor two accountants, providing oversight and development
  • Serve as primary lead for audit support, including coordinating with external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and organizational financial standards

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role
