- Able to perform duties at night and during inclement weather
- Previous campus safety experience is a plus

- Conduct active and random patrols of the campus to provide a safe and secure environment for individuals and property, and to enforce college policies and community standards
- Perform initial investigations of incidents, conduct follow-up investigations, and make accurate and timely written reports
- Respond to emergencies, problems and complaints, and provide care and resources to those who are sick, injured, or in crisis
- Perform duties in uniform and may travel by foot, bicycle, or marked Campus Safety Vehicle
- Perform other related duties as assigned and based on departmental needs
