Job description


The Risk Analyst will play a key role in the Risk and Safety Management department executing the Company's overall enterprise risk management strategy, including inputting Liability claims for claims being handled in house, inputting payments into the payment database and managing rentals in the Enterprise ARMS system with secondary backup functions and inputting Workers' Compensation claims. The Risk Analyst will maintain strong relationships with Monro Inc. Team Members, Insurance representatives and third-party vendors creating a positive environment conducive to the overall reduction of risk and insurance costs. The Risk Analyst will understand and professionally input and communicate claims to the Risk Management and Monro Inc. leadership Team.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Inputting claims following the guidelines of Monro Inc. claim programs.
  • Be able to type on average 60 words per minute.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable with communicating on the phone, instant messenger, and prompt responses to e-mail's.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Develop and maintain filing systems, contact lists, creating and generating reports, copying, binding, and scanning.
  • Enforcement and execution of the risk management policies/procedures (insurance, claims).
  • Positively represent the Risk Management Department by contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Understands retail operations and recommends appropriate preventive safety policies, procedures and training to the Risk Management Leadership Team.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred in business, finance, human resources, risk management, communications, or criminal justice.
  • Retail experience; Management experience preferred.
  • Proven Administrative and Customer Service experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Attention to detail, problem solving skills, and accuracy of reporting.
  • Quickly adapts to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work as a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent interpersonal communications; ability to deal with customers and business partners in a professional manner. Demonstrated strong relational skills particularly in adverse or high-pressure situations.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to make prompt, intelligent decisions based upon detailed analysis of complex issues.
  • Must be able to guide & influence those not directly reporting to them through vision, mission, objectives, and strategies.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards including meeting qualitative and productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
