Job Description RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Permit Coordinator / Data Manager in Lakewood, CO. This is a full-time, contract to hire, on-site assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive compensation package including benefits, paid vacation, and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as a Permit Coordinator / Data Manager As a Permit Coordinator / Data Manager, you will play a critical role in managing permitting workflows, tracking compliance deadlines, and maintaining accurate project data. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills who can effectively manage multiple priorities, follow up on permit submissions, monitor payments, and perform detailed data comparisons to ensure accuracy and compliance. As a Permit Coordinator / Data Manager YOU will: Coordinate, submit, track, and manage permit applications across multiple jurisdictions Monitor permit status, due dates, expiration timelines, and fee payments to ensure project compliance Perform consistent follow-ups with municipalities, agencies, and internal teams on permit submissions and approvals Maintain accurate records, databases, and trackers for permits, invoices, and project documentation Conduct data comparisons and audits to ensure accuracy between submitted documentation, municipal records, and internal databases Prepare reports, schedules, and tracking tools using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders and external agencies to resolve issues and prevent delays Identify process inefficiencies and recommend workflow improvements YOU are the ideal Permit Coordinator / Data Manager candidate if you have: Prior experience as a Permit Coordinator, Account Manager, or in a related administrative/project coordination role Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities Proven experience monitoring payments, tracking due dates, and following up on submitted permits Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills It's a BONUS if you have: Experience working with municipal permitting agencies or utility permitting processes Background in construction, engineering, utilities, telecommunications, or infrastructure projects Experience performing data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting Familiarity with project management tools or permitting software platforms About Our CLIENT Our Client performs distribution, transmission and substation construction services and conducts turnkey engineering-construction projects for utilities, electric cooperatives and municipalities of all sizes across the country.
