Job Summary- Contract 1099 Position- Temporary
Join our team as a Fire Alarm Inspection Assistant and become a vital part of ensuring building safety and compliance! In this energetic role, you will support the inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems across various construction and service environments. Your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and technical skills will help safeguard properties and lives. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you can grow your expertise in fire alarm systems, electrical components, and low voltage systems while contributing to community safety.

The 1099 panel assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Operate a two-way radio and maintain communication with the inspector throughout the inspection process.
  • Monitor the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) and acknowledge alarms as they are activated during testing.
  • Arrive on time and be prepared for each scheduled inspection.
  • Adhere to a business casual dress code; comfortable sneakers are recommended due to the nature of the work.
  • Remain stationed at the panel for extended periods, as inspection durations may vary and some projects can take several hours to complete.
  • Follow all site-specific safety and access requirements.
  • Communicate any panel issues, alarm irregularities, or concerns to the inspector promptly.

Work Location: In person

Position is not an employee role and is not eligible for company benefits.

This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity and is not an employment position. The selected contractor will be responsible for all applicable taxes, insurance, and business expenses.
