Job description

The Capital District YMCA is looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of Vice President of Property.  Under the direction of the President/CEO, the Vice President of Property directs the functions of property management of the Association which includes maintaining an inventory of properties and facilities, and forecast for the development of new, renovation of existing, and the disbursement of surplus, physical assets. This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive property management strategy that ensures safe, functional, compliant, and well-maintained facilities that support the Capital District YMCA's mission and operational goals. As a member of the Senior Management Team of the Association, the Vice President of Property will influence the activities and direction of the organization at all levels.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in Property Management & Development.
  • Knowledge of construction and maintenance systems and the management thereof. 
  • Ability to manage contracts and work with people and to represent the Capital District YMCA in all areas and after all groups that have interest in the property and facility related activity of the Association. 
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of the YMCA and its capacity to build strong kids, families and communities. The ability to present self and YMCA professionally at all times. The ability to articulate and model YMCA’s four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility are essential. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Pool Operator.
  • Experience working with non-profit organizations, healthcare systems, higher education institutions, and/or municipalities.

SALARY RANGE:

$128,983 - $138,983
