About This Role This position supports Protective Services within SecurTec's Physical Security division, providing a polished and professional security presence across a luxury downtown district in Jupiter, FL. The post serves a mix of upscale retail, mixed-use developments, hospitality venues, and office properties - environments that draw discerning clientele and high-profile patrons.
Position Summary Unarmed Security Officers in this role are responsible for maintaining a visible, courteous, and highly professional protective presence throughout a premier downtown environment. Officers safeguard property and people, provide concierge-level customer interaction, deter and address unwanted activity, and respond to incidents in accordance with post orders and established protocols. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the discretion required to engage with executives, dignitaries, and other high-profile patrons.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional, unarmed protective presence across the assigned downtown district
  • Engage courteously with patrons, tenants, retail staff, hotel guests, and high-profile visitors
  • Conduct foot patrols of retail corridors, mixed-use properties, hospitality venues, and office buildings
  • Monitor for suspicious activity, loitering, theft, vandalism, and other security concerns
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
  • Coordinate with on-site management, tenants, and local law enforcement as appropriate
  • Document activity, observations, and incidents in detailed written reports
  • Enforce site-specific post orders, property rules, and applicable regulations
  • Exercise discretion and confidentiality when interacting with high-profile clientele
  • Maintain a polished personal appearance consistent with a luxury environment
Shift Availability Full-time positions available on day shift and afternoon shift.
Requirements
  • Valid Florida Class D Security License
  • Prior security or hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Strong observation and report-writing ability
  • Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods, in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
