Familiarity with crisis intervention protocols, case management systems, and community resource networks is typically required. Safe Place Coordinators are responsible for managing the daily operations of Safe Place sites, training staff and volunteers, and ensuring youth in crisis receive immediate support and referrals to appropriate services. One common challenge is quickly assessing each individual's needs while maintaining confidentiality and safety.
