SaaS Sales Executive

SBS CYBERSECURITY LLC

Madison, SD • On-site, Remote

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement, PTO

Posted 13 days ago

Job description

OTE Potential $150,000 - $175,000

Every deal you close on this team means one more bank, credit union, or cybersecurity-exposed organization with a clearer, more confident view of its cyber risk. That's what TRAC does — and it's why the sales conversation feels different here. You're not pushing software; you're helping risk, compliance, and IT leaders finally see what they've been missing.

As a SaaS Sales Executive, you'll own the full sales cycle for TRAC — from first conversation to signed contract — and become a trusted advisor to the clients you bring on board. We want someone who's genuinely energized by regulated industries and the people trying to do right by them, not just someone chasing a number.

Why Choose SBS?
At SBS we are focused on putting people first and doing the right thing. We strongly believe our people are our number one asset and strive to provide an enjoyable working environment where employees feel supported, valued, and challenged. Join SBS CyberSecurity and you will:

  • Be part of a company that makes its culture a priority.
  • Enjoy a flexible and family-friendly environment with the benefit of working from home.
  • Receive competitive wages and an excellent benefits package with many premiums paid for by the company.
  • Be encouraged to continue growing in your profession with reimbursement for industry certifications and education.
  • Work with a team that relies on our core values of passion, compassion, innovation, and empowerment when interacting with customers and each other.

What you'll do:

This role is yours to run - you'll build pipeline, close deals, and become the person your client calls first.

    • Proactively identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities for TRAC software across assigned territories or verticals.
    • Develop a deep understanding of TRAC’s capabilities and its value proposition for clients in banking, finance, healthcare, and other regulated sectors.
    • Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools.
    • Deliver compelling product demonstrations to C-level executives, IT, compliance, and risk management teams (up to 50% of your time may be spent preparing and giving demos.)
    • Collaborate with marketing to convert leads from campaigns, webinars, and conferences into opportunities.
    • Negotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with company guidelines.
    • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
    • Represent SBS CyberSecurity at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as needed.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., FFIEC, NIST, HIPAA, GLBA).

    What You Bring

These are the things we need to see - the foundation this role is built on:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, technology, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
    • 3+ years of B2B software sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, or SaaS.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and web conferencing tools
    • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

    What Would Excite Us

Nobody checks every box - and we don't expect you to. If any of this is part of your story, we want to hear about it:

    • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CRI, etc.)
    • Previous experience selling into highly regulated industries (e.g., banking, healthcare).
    • Familiarity with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) or risk assessment software tools.

    Our Benefits

    • Medical, dental, and vision with employer-paid medical options at the employee-only level
    • 3 weeks of PTO
    • 8 hours of volunteer time off
    • 11 paid company holidays
    • Simple IRA with employer match up to 3%
    • Short-term and long-term disability
    • Employer-paid voluntary cancer policy
    • Voluntary life, hospital indemnity and accident policies
    • Learning/tuition reimbursement program
    • Parental leave
    • EAP/mental health support
    • Remote work opportunities

    Additional Details

    • This is a full-time, remote position. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CT, with evening or weekend work possible as job duties demand.
    • This position requires frequent travel.
    • The role involves regular writing, keyboarding, speaking, and listening in a professional office-type setting, along with occasional walking, standing, and reaching; reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
    • Success in this role calls for strong analytical reasoning, clear communication, and the ability to manage deadlines, multiple concurrent tasks, and interruptions with focus.

This description reflects the experience we believe sets someone up to succeed here — not an exhaustive list of every task you'll touch. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as the role and TRAC's market grow.
