Location: 1220 Bank Street Richmond VA 23219
Preference is hybrid (2 days on site) however mgr willing to make exception for the right candidate to work remotely. Meaning if they have some of the highly desired skills (and that exp is clearly reflected on resume as well, not just checked on the skills matrix) the manager will consider this option. NO GUARANTEES re 100% remote. The manager will make that decision AFTER the interview and upon extending the offer.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Senior PM will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing, planning, and implementation of new Chemistry Lab Analyzers in 4 DBHDS Facilities. Project Manager may be asked to take on additional projects if they have bandwidth. Project Manager will manage project budget, partner with procurement on sourcing suppliers, and planning all project deliverables including implementation.
DAY TO DAY
• Coordinate vendors and consultants, and DBHDS and business staff as assigned, in the execution of Business & IT projects and related procurements.
• Coordinate and oversee the development of proposals, statement of work, statement of requirements and RFP responses.
• Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work.
• Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness are met.
• Facilitate multi-disciplinary teams in the development of plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for completion of a project.
• Oversee and manage execution and/or coordination of day-to-day project activities as required.
• Manage working relationships with key stakeholders, including executive management, business management, vendors, project sponsors, suppliers, and technology management.
• Track and communicate a project's progress from a schedule, cost, and risk perspective to the project team, customers, and project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external (vendor / Suppliers) and internal technology leads and solution architects to incorporate agency best practices into project plans.
• Drive consistent project delivery through the entire project lifecycle, including, execution of procurements, definition of project plans, resource allocation, management of project risks, scope, and schedule, delivery of value, and well-ordered transitions to operations.
• Monitor progress by third-party vendors and define and measure their progress with metrics.
• Develop and maintain project budget, plans, task lists, schedules, risks, and status, to include resource allocation and schedules.
• Adhere to DBHDS and VITA project management practices and governance requirements.
• Facilitates resolution of technical issues
• Leads and coordinates the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating and planning for single or multiple work-streams
