Job description

We’re looking for a** Road Service Technician**to cover theSacramento area and surrounding region. This role is for someone who can work independently, handle real breakdowns, and keep their head when things go sideways. You will respond to service calls, diagnose and repair trucks and equipment in the field, and get customers back on the road safely and efficiently.

If you need constant supervision or fall apart when you’re solo, this is not the job for you.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to roadside service calls throughout theSacramento, CA area
  • Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment in the field
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, air, and hydraulic repairs
  • Conduct field inspections and document findings clearly
  • Communicate with service management on repair status and parts needs
  • Maintain service truck, tools, and parts inventory
  • Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations
  • Complete work orders accurately and on time

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in heavy-duty truck or equipment repair
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
  • Clean driving record
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Reliable, accountable, and professional
