PCB Quality Control Inspector – PCB Manufacturing Department Murrietta Circuits – Anaheim, CA

Murrietta Circuits is seeking a detail-oriented PCB Quality Control Inspector to support our Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Manufacturing Department.

This position is responsible for performing First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspection of bare printed circuit boards to ensure compliance with IPC-A-600 standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience performing visual inspection of bare circuit boards and working within a manufacturing quality environment.

This is an on-site position working Monday through Friday in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspection of bare printed circuit boards
  • Inspect PCB products for compliance to IPC-A-600 standards and customer specifications
  • Perform detailed visual inspection of circuit boards for workmanship defects and nonconforming conditions
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, specifications, travelers, and work instructions
  • Verify product quality throughout various stages of manufacturing
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
  • Identify and report quality concerns and nonconforming material
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support manufacturing requirements
  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
  • IPC-A-600 Certification required or preferred
  • Experience performing visual inspection of bare printed circuit boards
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and workmanship standards
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer skills required
Preferred Experience
  • PCB manufacturing environment
  • Quality inspection experience
  • Aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing environment
  • Experience with First Article Inspection and quality documentation
  • AS9100 manufacturing environment experience a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout portions of the workday
  • Good visual acuity and attention to detail required
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
